Pastor Craig Dyer
Earlier this year Craig completed 13 years as Pastor of Harper Memorial Church in the south side of Glasgow. He had been called there from Bellshill Baptist Church, his first pastorate which he took up after graduating from Irish Baptist College in Belfast in 1989.
During his time at Harper, Craig served as a trustee with India Rural Evangelical Fellowship (IREF), was Chair of Care for Scotland's Scottish Advisory Committee, and a chaplain at the University of Glasgow. Also during these years his involvement in Christianity Explored deepened, leading to his present role as Training Director.
His task in essence is to provide evangelism training for gospel-hearted churches around the world by developing a network of qualified trainers. He summarises his life's work as "Equipping hundreds to train thousands to rescue millions".
Craig and his wife have three daughters. As a family they enjoy time together travelling, cycling and defeating Craig in word game competitions.
When not at work he has been known to go for a run and have the occasional rattle on the drums. Craig collects boxed DVD sets of "The West Wing" which he hasn't got round to watching yet, but he enjoys the thought of them being there if he ever needs them
